ABOUT DJ NUGGET

With over twenty five years of DJ experience, Adam Kulik aka DJ Nugget is a pioneer of Pittsburgh's DJ scene.  He's held down multiple weekly residencies at every major nightlife venue in the city for decades and has become a household name in Pittsburgh.  He's also graced the turntables at nightclubs and bars all over the country as well as internationally and has worked with countless corporate clients to provide unique soundtracks for their events.  Nugget's passion for music shows in his sets and he prides himself on mixing things up, playing a wide variety of genres to always keep things interesting and exciting on the dancefloor.

Nugget has opened for some of the biggest acts in the world including Diplo, ?uestlove, Lil Jon, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Busta Rhymes and Fat Joe to name a few.  He was also invited to play season wrap parties for the cast and crew of landmark shows including "Billions" and "Orange is the New Black" in NYC and "Claws" in New Orleans.

After cutting his teeth in the DJ scene for numerous years, Nugget followed through with his lifelong goal in 2015 and opened his DJ themed bar, The Goldmark in Pittsburgh's Lawrenceville neighborhood.  The Goldmark went on to win "Best New Bar" in it's first year in the Pittsburgh City Paper Awards as well as "Best Bar (East)" in 2017.  Nugget was also awarded "Best DJ" in 2016 and on October 18th 2018 (Pittsburgh DJ Appreciation Day), Nugget was honored to accept a lifetime achievement award in DJing from his peers in the local DJ scene.
